Capoeira is a dynamic art form that encourages practitioners to work together as a collaborative team. The roda de capoeira – the circle formed by students to play capoeira – requires that all participants have an active role; playing instruments, singing, clapping, performing movements. Thus, a supportive environment that encourages cooperation and teamwork, develops organically.
By cultivating creativity and encouraging self-expression in a fun and supportive environment, ACBXKids students develop spatial awareness, motor-coordination and rhythmic abilities among other skills. In our extensive experience working with children, young students have demonstrated significant development of soft skills such as, social and communication skills, problem-solving, decision-making, self-control, and positive self-image.
Our encouraging teaching approach allows students to gain valuable skills that will accompany them for a lifetime.
